New hope for tough leukemia: drug combo trial opens

Summary

This study tests a combination of two drugs (AZA and APG1252) in 52 adults with high-risk acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The goal is to see if the combo is safe and can help control the disease. Participants include those whose cancer returned or didn't respond to prior treatment, as well as some newly diagnosed patients with specific AML subtypes.
