Summary

This early-stage study tests whether a vaccine called AV-1959D is safe for people with early Alzheimer's disease. The vaccine aims to train the immune system to target and remove harmful amyloid plaques in the brain. The trial includes 48 adults aged 60 to 85 with mild cognitive impairment or mild Alzheimer's dementia. The main goal is to check for side effects and see if the vaccine is well tolerated.
