Ear acupuncture may ease Pre-Surgery jitters and cut opioid use

Summary
This study tests whether a type of ear acupuncture (auriculotherapy) can lower anxiety before kidney cancer surgery. About 60 adults scheduled for a partial or full kidney removal will receive either the real treatment or a placebo. Researchers will measure anxiety levels and how much pain medication (opioids) participants need after surgery.
