Eye drop strength tweaked to halt Kids' nearsightedness
NCT ID NCT07449247
Summary
This study aims to find the best strength of atropine eye drops to prevent nearsightedness from developing in children aged 6-9 who show early signs. Over one year, 233 children will use low-strength drops, and the strength will be increased only for those whose vision starts to worsen faster. Researchers will track changes in vision and eye length to see if this adjustable approach works better than a one-size-fits-all dose.
