First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tests whether low-concentration atropine eye drops (0.02% or 0.04%) combined with special glasses (DIMS) can slow the worsening of nearsightedness in children aged 6 to 12 with moderate to high myopia. About 410 children will receive either atropine drops, DIMS glasses, both, or a placebo. The goal is to see which approach best controls eye growth and reduces the need for stronger prescriptions.
