New cream may soothe rash from cancer drugs

Summary

This study tests a topical cream called ATR04-484 for treating skin rash caused by EGFR inhibitor cancer therapy. About 32 adults with moderate to severe rash will apply the cream or a placebo daily for 28 days. Researchers will check safety and whether the cream reduces rash severity and itching.
