Summary

This study tested a maintenance treatment for people with extensive-stage small cell lung cancer, a fast-growing cancer. After standard chemotherapy and an immunotherapy drug, patients received a personalized vaccine made from their own immune cells, plus continued immunotherapy. The goal was to see if this combination could delay cancer progression and improve survival. The trial involved 20 participants across three hospitals in Spain.
