Could a simple ear device ease EDS pain and fatigue?
NCT ID NCT06105541
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested whether a small nerve stimulation device worn on the ear at home could improve common symptoms of hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, such as pain, fatigue, sleep problems, and mood. Twenty-five adults with the condition used the device daily for two weeks, with some receiving a sham (inactive) version for comparison. The goal was to see if this gentle, non-invasive approach could offer a safe way to manage multiple symptoms without medication.
