Summary
This study looked at whether the shape of the edge of a retainer used for at-home teeth whitening changes how happy people are with the results. Forty adults who had finished Invisalign treatment and wanted whiter teeth took part. Each person used two different retainer designs, one on each side of their mouth, and rated their satisfaction, whitening, tooth sensitivity, and gum irritation over two weeks.
