New Triple-Drug attack aims to control tough leukemia

Summary

This study tests a combination of three drugs (ASTX727, venetoclax, and gilteritinib) for people with acute myeloid leukemia or high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome that has a specific gene change called FLT3. The goal is to find the best dose and see how well the drugs work together to control the cancer. The trial includes both newly diagnosed patients who cannot have strong chemotherapy and those whose cancer has returned or not responded to treatment.
