Can a quick puff test revolutionize how we track asthma?
NCT ID NCT06425562
Summary
This study aims to find out if a newer, simpler breathing test called impulse oscillometry (IOS) provides useful information for monitoring asthma in adults. Researchers will follow 50 adult asthma patients who are changing their regular asthma medication. Participants will do breathing tests and fill out questionnaires at the start and again 3-6 months later to see if the new test results match up with how they feel and function.
