New hope for liver cancer patients who failed immunotherapy?

Summary
This study tests a new drug called AST-3424 in people with a specific type of advanced liver cancer that has high levels of a protein called AKR1C3 and has stopped responding to standard immunotherapy. The goal is to see if AST-3424 helps people live longer compared to another drug, regorafenib. About 75 participants will receive either AST-3424 or regorafenib, and researchers will track survival rates at 9 months.
