NCT ID NCT07240454

First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looks at whether people with a chronic subdural hematoma (a slow brain bleed) who are treated without surgery should continue or stop taking aspirin. About 143 adults who regularly use aspirin and have this condition will be randomly assigned to either keep taking aspirin or stop. The goal is to see which approach is safer and more effective at preventing the bleed from getting worse or coming back.
