Common heart drugs could extend life in prostate cancer

Summary
This study tests whether two common, low-cost drugs—aspirin and atorvastatin (a cholesterol-lowering statin)—can help men with a type of advanced prostate cancer live longer. About 1,210 men whose cancer has stopped responding to hormone therapy will take one or both drugs alongside their usual treatment. The goal is to see if these drugs improve overall survival.
