Can a different aspirin dose better protect diabetic hearts?

NCT ID NCT05702463

First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at how well different doses and forms of aspirin work in people with type 2 diabetes. About 30 participants will first take a standard dose of coated aspirin. Those whose blood platelets are not fully blocked will then try three other aspirin regimens to see which works best. The goal is to gather information for a larger trial, not to provide a cure.
