Diabetes patients may need different aspirin doses to prevent blood clots
NCT ID NCT05702463
Summary
This study is testing different aspirin doses and formulations to find which works best for preventing blood clots in people with type 2 diabetes. Researchers will enroll 30 participants who haven't taken aspirin recently and test their response to various daily doses. The goal is to identify the aspirin regimen that most effectively prevents platelets from sticking together, which could help reduce heart attack and stroke risk in this population.
