New drug targets KRAS cancers in first human trial

Summary
This study tests a new drug, ASP5834, for people with advanced solid tumors that have certain changes in the KRAS gene. The drug is given alone or with another drug (panitumumab) for colorectal cancer. The main goals are to find a safe dose and check for side effects. About 364 adults with cancers like lung, pancreatic, or colorectal cancer that have not responded to standard treatments will take part.
