New device aims to seal aneurysms better during surgery

Summary
This early study tests a new device (Cygnum) used alongside standard surgery to repair abdominal aortic aneurysms. The goal is to see if it is safe and can prevent leaks inside the aneurysm sac after repair. About 15 adults with large aneurysms will receive the device and be followed with scans and checkups.
