Tiny implant could help women stop leaking urine

NCT ID NCT05828979

Summary

This study is testing the feasibility of a new, implantable artificial urinary sphincter device called UroMems eAUS. It aims to help women with stress urinary incontinence, a condition where physical activity causes urine leakage, after other treatments have failed or aren't suitable. The small study will check if the device can be successfully implanted and activated, and if it helps reduce the amount of urine leakage.
