Artificial neck disc aims to outperform traditional fusion surgery
NCT ID NCT04982835
Summary
This study is testing a new artificial disc implant for the neck against the current standard surgery, spinal fusion. It's for people with pain, numbness, or weakness in their neck and arms from two worn-out discs in a row. Researchers will see if the artificial disc is as safe and effective as fusion over two years.
