This study tested two different physical therapy techniques—Active Release Technique (ART) and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF)—to see which one better improves hamstring flexibility and reduces pain in adults with chronic low back pain. Forty participants aged 25-40 with low back pain and tight hamstrings received one of the two treatments over two weeks. Researchers measured flexibility and pain before and after treatment to compare the results.
