First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tested whether a homeopathic remedy called Arnica montana (SinEcch™) can reduce swelling and pain after wisdom tooth surgery. 53 adults having at least two impacted wisdom teeth removed received either Arnica or a sugar pill placebo. Researchers measured facial swelling and pain levels over 5 days to see if the herb made a difference.
