NCT ID NCT07558135

First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looks at the best way to care for patients after surgery to remove one adrenal gland. Some patients develop adrenal insufficiency, where the body doesn't make enough essential hormones, which can be dangerous. The study will compare two common management strategies to see which one better prevents this condition. About 96 adults undergoing adrenalectomy at King's College Hospital will take part.
