NCT ID NCT06401239

First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study aims to understand how adults who survive acute respiratory failure (ARF) and their family caregivers think about the first 6 months of recovery. Researchers want to see if expectations about recovery are linked to anxiety, depression, and stress in both survivors and their care partners. About 235 pairs (survivor and caregiver) will complete three surveys over 6 months, answering questions about their feelings and outlook.
