Scientists hunt for hidden clues in ARDS Patients' blood and mucus
NCT ID NCT07380997
Summary
This study aims to understand why some patients with severe lung failure (ARDS) respond better to breathing machines than others. Researchers will collect blood and sputum samples from 411 adult ARDS patients on ventilators and analyze them in detail. The goal is to find biological markers that can predict patient outcomes and help doctors personalize ventilator settings in the future.
