Water therapy boosts daily skills in kids with cerebral palsy

NCT ID NCT07347184

First seen Jan 27, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tested a personalized water exercise program for 12 children with cerebral palsy. Each child did both the water program and standard rehab exercises for 16 weeks each. The goal was to see if fun, task-focused water activities could improve how well they perform daily tasks and participate in life. Results suggest water therapy may help, but more research is needed.
