NCT ID NCT04553185
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looked at 733 people with Parkinson's disease to see if certain genetic changes in the AQP4 gene are linked to worse motor, cognitive, and sleep symptoms. Researchers measured these gene variations and compared them to symptom severity. The goal was to better understand how genes influence the course of Parkinson's, not to test a new treatment.
