NCT ID NCT02856893
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This phase 2 trial studied 156 people with advanced EGFR-mutant lung cancer to find the best time to start the drug osimertinib. Some received it right away, while others started with a different drug and switched to osimertinib when a blood test showed a resistance marker. The study also checked if blood tests could replace scans to detect cancer progression. The goal was to improve disease control and survival.
