App vs. In-Person: which physio works best for lung surgery recovery?
NCT ID NCT06732193
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 36 times
Summary
This study compares two ways of doing breathing exercises before and after lung cancer surgery: in-person sessions with a physiotherapist versus using a smartphone app (Fissios App) alongside those sessions. The goal is to see if the app helps reduce complications like infections or breathing problems after surgery. About 560 adults with non-small cell lung cancer who are scheduled for lung removal surgery will take part.
