First seen Dec 17, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tests if a mobile app with daily push notifications can help teenagers wearing braces improve their oral hygiene. Braces make it easy for food and plaque to build up, leading to gum problems and white spots. Researchers will compare three groups: app with reminders, app without reminders, and standard care. They will measure plaque levels and gum health, and also check if the app improves knowledge and motivation about brushing.
