Can a phone app boost heart and brain health after ablation?

NCT ID NCT07119528

First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether a smartphone app-based care plan helps people with atrial fibrillation (AFib) recover better after a heart ablation procedure called FARAPULSE. About 500 adults who are getting their first FARAPULSE treatment will be randomly assigned to standard care or standard care plus the app. The app helps manage risk factors and track progress. The main goal is to see if the app reduces the chance of AFib returning within a year. The study also looks at whether the ablation and app improve memory and thinking.
