Promising leukemia cocktail targets cancer cells without harming healthy ones

Summary
This study tests whether adding a targeted drug (gemtuzumab ozogamicin) to standard therapy (tretinoin and arsenic trioxide) works better for adults with untreated acute promyelocytic leukemia. About 151 participants will receive the combination. The goal is to see if the extra drug helps keep the cancer from coming back.
