Summary

This study tested a drug called apitegromab in 102 overweight or obese adults who were also taking a GLP-1 weight-loss medication. The goal was to see if apitegromab could help preserve lean body mass (muscle) while losing weight. Participants received either apitegromab or a placebo for 24 weeks, and body composition was measured using X-ray scans.
