First seen Mar 04, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tested a new drug, APF530, against a standard drug, ondansetron, to see which better prevents nausea and vomiting in cancer patients receiving strong chemotherapy. About 942 adults with cancer took part. The goal was to see if APF530 could keep patients from vomiting or needing rescue medicine for more than 24 hours after chemo.
