Summary
This study watched 193 adults who had emergency laparoscopic appendix removal to see how closely hospitals followed a special recovery plan called RICA (ERAS). The goal was to check if following the plan leads to fewer complications, shorter hospital stays, and the possibility of going home within 24 hours. No new treatments were tested—just routine care was observed.
