Summary

This study tests whether taking apalutamide for 6 months before prostate removal surgery can lower the chance that patients will need radiation therapy afterward. It includes 45 men with intermediate-risk prostate cancer. The goal is to see if the drug reduces signs of aggressive cancer in the removed prostate tissue.
