NCT ID NCT04745585
First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tested a new way to slow blood flow in the leg by pressing on the belly, using ultrasound to guide the pressure. Twenty healthy adults took part to see if the ultrasound-guided method works better than pressing by feel alone. The goal is to improve how doctors control severe bleeding in emergencies.
