New pill targets Cancer's 'Master Switch' in desperate leukemia cases
NCT ID NCT06763341
Summary
This early-stage trial is testing a new oral medication called AOH1996 in adults with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) that has returned after treatment or has not responded to standard therapies. The main goals are to find the safest dose and understand the drug's side effects. Researchers will also look for early signs that the drug, which works by damaging cancer cell DNA, might help control the leukemia.
