Calming touch eases breast biopsy fears

NCT ID NCT06056414

Summary

This study tested whether a gentle acupressure technique could reduce anxiety in patients about to undergo a breast biopsy. Researchers worked with 57 women who were having their first breast biopsy for suspected cancer. They measured anxiety levels before and after the calming touch session to see if it helped patients feel more relaxed before the procedure.
