First seen Apr 18, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looked at whether anxiety and depression are linked to a common tooth infection called apical periodontitis. Researchers at the University of Siena studied 120 adults, comparing those with and without the infection. They used questionnaires and dental exams to see if mental health and oral health are connected. The goal is to better understand how these conditions might influence each other.
