First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looked at how two schizophrenia medications, risperidone and aripiprazole, affect the energy-producing parts of cells (mitochondria) in 60 patients. Researchers measured changes in cell energy markers over 12 weeks. The goal was to better understand drug side effects, not to test a new treatment.
