First seen Mar 01, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study aims to see if giving family doctors and nurse practitioners a personalized report on their antibiotic prescribing habits can reduce unnecessary antibiotic use. About 7,600 clinicians in British Columbia will be randomly assigned to receive the report either early or after a nine-month delay. Researchers will compare prescribing rates between the two groups to measure the impact of the feedback.
