NCT ID NCT06731660
First seen Jan 15, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looks at whether giving doctors personalized feedback and a digital otoscope (a camera for the ear) can reduce how often they prescribe antibiotics for ear infections in young children. About 40 pediatricians who frequently diagnose and treat ear infections will be split into four groups to test these tools over three months. The goal is to see if better diagnosis can cut down on unnecessary antibiotic use.
