This study tested whether anti-VEGF injections into the eye can help treat Coats disease, a rare condition that causes abnormal blood vessels and fluid buildup in the retina, potentially leading to blindness. The trial included 18 people with early-stage Coats disease who had not received any prior eye treatment. Researchers compared the effects of these injections combined with standard laser therapy to see if they could improve the disease stage and reduce the need for repeated laser treatments.
