First seen Jan 26, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a specific antibody, usually linked to a rare kidney disease, might also show up in people with lupus who have kidney inflammation (lupus nephritis). Researchers tested stored blood samples from 100 people with lupus and healthy donors. The goal was to see if this antibody could be a useful early warning sign for kidney involvement in lupus.
