First seen Feb 26, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests a new treatment called UCAR-T for people with a severe kidney disease (refractory idiopathic membranous nephropathy) that hasn't responded to standard therapies. The treatment uses specially engineered immune cells to target and attack the faulty cells causing the disease. The study will enroll 18 adults to check if the therapy is safe and can help control the disease.
