New drug duo tested for Tough-to-Treat lung cancer

NCT ID NCT05001971

Summary

This study tested whether combining two drugs, anlotinib and penpulimab, could help control small cell lung cancer in patients whose first chemotherapy treatment stopped working. The goal was to see if this combination could slow the cancer's growth and help patients live longer. The trial involved 65 participants in China and was designed to measure how well the treatment worked and how safe it was.
