Scientists map how ankles move after injury

NCT ID NCT05815576

Summary

This study aimed to understand how ankle sprains and chronic instability affect foot mechanics. Researchers compared 72 men in three groups: those with chronic instability, those who recovered from a sprain, and healthy controls. They measured joint movement, muscle strength, and balance during running and other tasks in a single lab visit.
