First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding a specific ankle joint mobilization technique to a standard exercise program helps young basketball players with limited ankle flexibility. 38 athletes with restricted ankle motion in one foot were split into two groups: one did only exercises, the other added joint mobilization. Researchers measured ankle range of motion, strength, and performance before, after, and three months later. The goal was to see if the combined approach leads to better movement and athletic performance.
