New study aims to find best surgical method for ankle fractures

Summary
This study compares two surgical techniques for fixing certain types of ankle fractures. The goal is to see which method causes fewer wound problems and leads to better recovery. About 100 adults with ankle fractures will be randomly assigned to one of the two surgeries and followed for a year. The results could help surgeons choose the best approach for their patients.
